Telekinesis and Mind reading - truth or myth?
Telekinesis
Let's now enter the domain of super powers. You may have seen Professor X and Magneto in X-Men influencing mind and moving objects with only their mind. Have you ever wondered if such powers can be true or they only myths? Let us explore...Telekinesis or Psychokinesis , is an alleged psychic ability allowing a person to influence a physical system without physical interaction. There have been many experiments and claims that have not been been proven to be truth.
Cognitive bias research has suggested that people are susceptible to illusions of PK. These include both the illusion that they themselves have the power, and that the events they witness are real demonstrations of telekinesis.
Mindreaders
Since old ages Oracles and Seers have claimed to read people's fortune. Also, mindreaders also known as mentalists, have appeared many times to demonstrate highly developed mental or intuitive abilities. While, traditional performers have attributed their results to supernatural or psychic skills. Some contemporary performers attribute their results to natural skills, such as the ability to read body language or to manipulate the subject subliminally through psychological suggestion. Others stay enigmatic and make no specific claims but leave it up to the audience to decide.
In conclusion, from all research and documented evidence there are no proof of telekinesis and mindreading abilities. So, unfortunately there is no fairytale twist coming in our lives where we start evolving and developing fantastic super powers.

Top Indian Male Dancers
This is following up on my craze about dance reality shows, that are becoming more and more popular nowadays. This current list is primary based on dancers that my generation has expressed and is not encapsulating the classical dance forms which in my opinion are beyond comparison. Secondly this post based on the most popular Indian male dancers. The female dancers and world stage will be covered in a subsequent post
So in case I forget someone of your favorite then let me know and I will consider them as well, if I feel like it! ;)
So in case I forget someone of your favorite then let me know and I will consider them as well, if I feel like it! ;)
Prabhu Deva
No list among Indian dancers is complete without the mention of this man. he has been known as the "Indian Michael Jackson", but in terms of pure dancing and uniqueness of choreography he, according to me, is on par with the best in the world. Check out his famous dance in song "Muqabala"Hrithik Roshan
Indian cinema always had great dancers, but Hrithik completely revolutionized the the scene of dancing with his "Ik Pal ka Jeena" dance performance. Among existing dancers he is definitely one of the best all round dancers. Check out his dance performance in "Fire" song from movie Kites.NTR Jr
Fantastic, light footed and insanely fast moves! NTR Jr has recently given some fantastic dancing numbers which has taken hi slightly higher than Allu Arjun in my opinion. Check out the following "temper" song by him to see what I mean:Shahid Kapur
Shahid Kapur actually started as a background dancer in Shiamak Davar's dance troupe. He eventually got noticed due to his chocolate boy looks and great acting skills, but he continues to be one of the most versatile and great dancers in Bollywood. Check out his latest scorching dance performance:Allu Arjun
The STYLISH superstar form Telugu movie industry is an allrounder who is able to perform great dance styles. Check out the following dance number by him:Tiger Shroff
He is a trained gymnast and 5th degree black belt in taekwondo. His fitness and flexibility is well displayed in various dance numbers in his movies. Following is a popular track:Ram Charan
Ram Charan continues his father megastar Chiranjeevi's legacy with fantastic dance moves. If you check out his dance tracks it makes you believe that dancing does run in the genes.Raghav Juyal and Dharmesh Yelande
They started as a participant in Dance Indian Dance reality tv show and were not event the winners in their respective songs. But in the world of reality TV, at least when the concept was not dramatized and driven by TRP as is often now, the public opinion actually counted for something, due to their honesty and pure brilliance both of them got called back and are now today making waves as anchors, actors and choreographers. Below are a dance video showing a bit of both:Remo D'Souza, Ganesh Hegde and Terence Lewis
Remo is one of the most notable choreographers of our times and also remains a fantastic dancers. He began his days as background dancers and has struggled his way to become one of the countries best choreographers.
Ganesh is a great choreographer and singer but he is a mind boggling dancer. Check out the following song which he has both sang as well as danced.
Terrance is well know as a celebrity judge and choreographer but he is also a fantastic dancer of Contemporary forms.

Generating Blog Traffic Tip #3 - Advertising & Social Media
In Part 1 we spoke about the importance of content and in Part 2 the topic was on perfecting the blog's appearance. Part 3 is about the importance of Advertisement and Social Media for popularizing your blog and generating blog traffic.
You may hear popular bloggers advice you to focus only on Content or blog appearance. What they say is true, but it works when your blog has many regular readers. For beginners it's a must to atleast do the bare minimum when it comes to advertising it's content.
There are of course Advertisement agents and sites which you may enlist to push your blog up the popularity charts. But there are the following two ways you may advertise too.
Social Media
Today there are various social media platforms which you may use to spread the word out about your blog. You may post about your blog in: Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr.
Blogger Groups
You may also join blogger groups to interact with fellow bloggers and popularize your blog content. Two popular blog groups that I interact with are IndiBlogger and Blogadda.
Keep blogging, and work hard on great advertisement campaigns!

Happy Diwali 2018!!!
Wishing everybody a very Happy Diwali! May the festival of lights bring lots of happiness and prosperity to you and your closed ones!
And looking ahead at the coming new year, I share this breathtakingly beautiful poem by Charles Bukowski! Take your time, listen and feel the words. I am sure you will like it as I did!
And :D
Generating Blog Traffic Tip #2 - Perfection in Appearance
After content, the next most important to establish a blog's identity and generate good traffic is its Appearance. The following topics are key:
Site/Blogging Platform
You may opt for buying a site domain or use a blogging platform. Different sites and blogging platforms have different tools for stylizing the appearance. So, prior to selecting a domain or platform for your blog, please look at the various functionalities each offers before you choose.
Layouts/Themes
The layout is the background theme that pulls in the attention of the readers. If you are a beginner you can start by opting for pre-defined layouts and themes offered by the platforms.
Clarity & Neatness
It's good to make your blog special by adding different elements. However, I have seen too many blogs which are so cluttered and garish that it becomes painful to focus on the content. So keep things simple and pay special attention to clarity and neatness
Font
The essence of a blog is the text, so please don't underestimate the importance of Fonts. I would rather you chose a default font offered by the blogging platform than chose something like "Gothic" which becomes a nightmare to read.
Add-In/ Plug-In
These are great to engage with your readers and provide resources that make it easier to know more about the blogs. Please try to have the basic Add-Ins like - subscription form, page views, top posts, Archives etc.
Avoid Pop-Ups and uncontrolled Ads
Most readers, including yourselves, hate pop-ups appearing and disrupting the flow of your reading. So why opt for uncontrolled advertisements that completely ruin the experience of your readers. The people who generate money from their blogs do it because of these ads. The pay per click systems are built for sites that already have good traffic and good content, so please don't fall into the trap.
Please go for the best Appearance for your site as this will help highlight your content better. I am sure this will bring you closer to your readers. :)

Generating Blog Traffic Tip #1 - Remember Content is the King
I have been blogging since 2007 with periods where I have seen insane traffic. The first tip I would give to aspiring bloggers is that take care about your Content.
In the world of blogging, 'Content is the King'. There are thousands of blogs duplicating and copying news lines as topics. Try to be:
Original
Originality gives you a uniqueness that helps bring in regular readers
Innovative
Be innovative and creative in your topics. This ramps up the interest in your readers
Well Researched
Conduct exhaustive research. Best way to respect your readers is to give them something in return for them spending their precious time reading your blog.
Go on, start blogging. I promise if you are honest in your intention you will derive pleasure and energy out of blogging as I do! :)

Need for Speed - Fastest speed recorded by mankind
Speed has been something that has always fascinated all of us. Be it fastest runners, cyclists, cars, rockets, or any man made object. In this post, I want to explore the extreme limits of speed we have been able to achieve:
Maximum human sprint speed is strikingly slower compared to other land animals. To give you some perspective check out the maximum speed of some of the speedstars among mammals:
[Note: The progression of motorbiking records are at the end of this post]
[Note: The progression of car records are at the end of this post]
There are however, other faster speeds recorded, the notable being the following:
This list is not complete and will evolve over the years. If you have reference of information that may improve this post. Please let me know via email or comments below.
Fastest Running Speed
Earlier, I had explored the limits of human endurance but this one is all about speed. When we look at speed we have to fix a distance so we can compare. The fastest Olympic category is 100 meters, whereas in Football (American as well as European) it's measured with respect to section of the fields crossed.100 m Athletics
The fastest human running speed ever recorded is 44.72 km/h (27.8 mph), measured between 60 and 80 meter of the 100 meters sprint of the World Championship in Berlin on 16 August 2009 by Usain Bolt. (Bolt's average speed over the course of this race was 37.58 km/h or 23.35 mph.)Maximum human sprint speed is strikingly slower compared to other land animals. To give you some perspective check out the maximum speed of some of the speedstars among mammals:
- cheetahs speed well over 100 km/h (62 mph),
- American quarter horse has topped 88 km/h (55 mph),
- greyhounds can reach 70 km/h (43 mph),
- Mongolian wild ass has been measured at 64 km/h (40 mph).
- Even the domestic cat may reach 48 km/h (30 mph)
American Football
- John Ross ran a 4.22 second 40 yard dash at the 2017 NFL combine.
- The previous record of 4.24 set by Chris Johnson at the 2008 combine.
Football or Soccer
- Gareth Bale is the fastest , reaching 36.9 km/h
- Orlando Berrio – 36 km/h
- Jurgen Damm – 35.2 km/h
- Antonio Valencia – 35.1 km/h
- Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 34.6 km/h
- Aaron Lennon – 33.8 km/h
- Cristiano Ronaldo – 33.6 km/h
- Theo Walcott – 32.7 km/h
- Lionel Messi – 32.5 km/h
- Wayne Rooney – 31.2 km/h
Fastest Cycling/Biking Speed
Now, the time is to ramp it up. Cycling speeds can go higher than 200 km/h, infact the world record speed is clocked at 334.6 km/h (207 mph) by Bruce Bursford, which he reached on a pedaling treadmill (after being towed to a starting speed of 100 mph). The flat surfaced record has been recently set by Denise Mueller-Korenek on 16th September 2018 where he reached maximum speed of 296 km/h (183.93 mph).Fastest motorbike speed recorded
This is where we enter into the realm of machine assisted or motorized speeds. And the record for the fastest motorcylce speed is with Rocky Robinson, of 605.7 km/h (376.36 mph) which he reached in 2010 shattering the 600 km/h barrier with the Top Oil-Ack Attack streamliner motorbike.[Note: The progression of motorbiking records are at the end of this post]
Fastest Car speed recorded
Have you watched Formula 1 cars racing at speeds over 300 km/h? Have you wondered about what the fastest speed attained by a car is? It is 447.19 km/h (277.87 mph) attained in 2017 by Koenigsegg Agera RS with its 5000 cm³ twin-turbo V8 1341 bhp engine.[Note: The progression of car records are at the end of this post]
Fastest Train/Rail speed recorded
I am sure you have heard or experienced bullet trains which can attain speeds above 300 km/h. The world record speed is almost double that, at 603 km/h (375 mph) set by Yamanashi Test Track (L0 Series) trains in Japan. In fact as you'll see most names in the fastest train list (at the bottom of this post) are from Japan with only the French superfast one's coming close.Fastest Airplane speed record
The fastest airplane speed record, which has stayed intact since 1976, was set by then-Capt. Eldon W. Joersz (P) and then-Maj. George T. Morgan Jr. (RSO) where they reached speeds of 3529.6 km/h (2193.2 mph) with the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird#61-7958 (US).There are however, other faster speeds recorded, the notable being the following:
Date | Pilot | Speed | Model |
2010 | Unmanned | 21245 km/h (13201 mph) | HTV-2 Falcon |
1981 | Joe H. Engle | 28000 km/h (17500 mph) | Space Shuttle Columbia |
Finale: Fastest speed recorded by any manmade object
Now as the finale let us look at the fastest man made object ever made. This record will soon be with NASA’s Parker Solar Probe which in the years ahead will reach speeds of 692018 km/h (430,000 mph) as it passes across the edge of the sun.
Parker Solar Probe will break the current record held by Helios 2, which had reached 391070.6 km/h (253000 mph) in an trip around Sun in 1976. Below is the list of the current top 10 fastest man-made objects:
